Quality Assurance Plan Improves

In order to ensure quality, every assembly worker hired will be trained to understand each step of the production process. This will help them better comprehend what materials are used throughout the process, and will also allow for worker rotation so that they never get fatigued. We will encourage participative management and hold weekly meetings where the Operations Manager meets with the Floor Supervisor and Assembly Team to give and receive feedback. These meetings will effectively incorporate worker’s needs into the company’s policies and structure.process viscometer

We have indicated two checkpoints in our process flow where the Operations Manager will inspect a percentage of each batch to guarantee that all of the products were properly produced (see OM Appendix 6: Process Flow Diagram). The first inspection is a visual evaluation and will take place after the molds are cast. The second inspection will occur at the end of the assembly process once the battery has been installed, and will entail powering up the product to ensure that all of the product’s functions are working properly.
Lastly, we will staff a janitorial and maintenance worker beginning in year three so that the production area is always kept tidy. A clean work environment prevents accidents and machine malfunctions, reducing the company’s potential liability for on-site mishaps.
