VH1 Save the Music Foundation
The VH1 Save the Music Foundation (The Foundation) is a New York based organization “dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in American public schools and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child’s complete education.”[1] Since its establishment in 1997, The Foundation has affected the lives of over 1.4 million students across the country by creating more than 1,700 music education programs. In acting as responsible members of the musically inclined community, we will be donating to The Save the Music Foundation.

In every box purchased, there will be a unique product ID number, which can be used to register the product on our website. For every registered product, we promise to donate $10 to The VH1 Save the Music Foundation, thereby restoring instrumental music education programs in school districts lacking the funds to support a music education program otherwise. We believe that access to a music education, especially during the highly impressionable elementary school and middle school years, will enrich the students’ lives and enhance the academic performance of underprivileged students.
The Foundation puts children of all backgrounds on the same playing field for music education through long-term, sustainable instrumental music programs. In collaboration with several school districts, VH1 provides brand-new instruments to public elementary and middle schools, jump starting undeveloped music programs across the country. If approved for a grant from The Foundation, each school will receive a $30,000 allowance for musical instruments. Our goal as a company is to support numerous new programs and influence the lives of countless students.
VH1’s noble mission matches that of our company, as we also strive to improve the lives of every individual we can. We sincerely hope that by pledging a portion of our revenue to The Foundation, we can better the educational experience of as many underprivileged children as possible.
